Nutrition for the SKIN

FaceToned® recipes are designed to support the renewal system for your facial muscles and skin, and to address your hormonal imbalances.

We are what we eat! – What we eat and drink has an enormous effect on how we both look and feel. Our skin and facial muscles will reflect our diet and we need to provide support for them from inside out.

We want a youthful glow with smooth, moisturised and unlined skin, but for that we need to consume the right kinds of foods.

Our faces can become imbalanced as a result of being constantly bombarded by toxins occurring in:

- pollution in the air
- chemicals we use in our homes and put on our skin
- processed food we eat and the alcohol we drink

What foods should we be eating for our SKIN and FACIAL MUSCLES?

We need to eat foods that:

. support the liver

. support our hormonal balance

. keep our blood sugar stable and at a low level

Focus on foods reach in:

. healthy fats

. antioxidants

. foods which maintain a healthy gut environment

Foods that are ideal for keeping our body healthy and our skin vibrant include: avocados, extra-virgin olive oil, nuts and seeds, berries, dark leafy greens, broccoli, oily fish, fermented foods and citrus fruits such as lemons and limes

We should aim to have as many servings of these anti-inflammatory foods as possible

Remember to:

. keep your sugar intake low

. drink within the recommended limits for alcohol

And Don’t Forget…

. to stay hydrated! Drink at least 6 glasses of filtered water a day
